DERMAPLANING
Dermaplaning is a relatively simple, non-invasive cosmetic procedure that removes the top layers of the skin and any vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the face.

As our skin is exposed daily to hard environmental toxins, irritants and sun damage this can cause the top layer of our skin to appear dull and aged. Dermaplaning aims to minimise dullness and the appearance of minor skin damage and to make the skins' surface look and feel smoother, providing a more youthful and glowing complexion.
The tool used for dermaplaning looks much like a razor. The sterile blade scrapes across your skin to remove dead cells, scar tissue and other debris that may be making your skins surface look uneven. You shouldn’t feel any pain during the procedure, but you may feel a little tingling sensation or heightened sensitivity as the top skin cells are removed and you may experience some redness immediately afterwards.
It is a misconception that demplaning makes your hair grow back thicker or darker as shaving your hair does not change the structure of the follicle, so the hair will grow at the same rate, width and texture as before.
