BIOTIN INJECTIONS
Biotin injections are used for the improvement of fine, fragile, or thinning hair and brittle nails. Biotin is a major component in the natural hair manufacturing process – it is essential not only to grow new hair, but it also plays a major role in the overall health of skin and nails.
Unlike other forms of oral supplements, vitamin injections go straight to work and send vitamins and nutrients straight to your bloodstream for full absorption. Oral supplements must be digested and absorbed by the body and, to survive the process, they often contain unnecessary ingredients.
Biotin was once called vitamin H. The H came from Haar und Haut (hair and skin in German). Biotin has a reputation for helping improve the health of hair, skin and nails because it improves the structure of keratin. Keratin is the main protein hair, skin and nails are made of (also feathers, horns, hooves and claws in animals). Biotin is involved in the protein synthesis that forms keratin, which explains why it is associated with strong and healthy hair, skin and nails.
You may experience some mild tenderness, redness or swelling around the injection site. These effects will usually resolve within 48 hours. You may also experience some bruising around the injection site but should be gone within 1-2 weeks
